3 Walking Distance Homestay/Airbnb Near Legoland Malaysia Planning to go to Legoland Malaysia during peak season?

We’ve sorted out three apartment homestays near Legoland Malaysia for you, all within a 5-minute walking distance!

All of these homestays offer you a homey feel, and most of them are suitable for a family group.

Legoland Malaysia Resort Themed Room is still the best option.

In case all Legoland hotel rooms are fully booked or you don’t have your own car to travel within the Legoland Malaysia area,

I would recommend you stay at nearby (within walking distance) homestays, which are all very affordable.

D’Pristine Residence – Best Location but Not Recommended

You might be curious why the best location is not recommended.

Because the building looks partially abandoned. Most likely be due to bad construction.

There are two reasons you can decide to book this homestay unit on Airbnb.com

You have a really tight budget; or
Other nearby homestays are fully booked.

The prices listed on Airbnb are really attractive – around RM150 per night for 2 bedrooms.

Here are reasons why I wouldn’t recommend it if budget is not a concern for you

The “walking distance” as described is true, but it is not practical at all.
It required good driving skills to make sure you reached level 5 without scratching your car.
The pool pictured and the gym were unavailable (construction has been stopped).
For family groups, the surroundings are dark, so don’t leave your kids alone.

But if you are not concerned about the surroundings, the rooms listed on Airbnb are all great. Make sure you read all the reviews before deciding on the rooms.

Don’t get fooled by all these D’Pristine “facilities photos”, as they all do not exist.

However, the location is really a strategic location to walk to the entrance of Legoland Malaysia.

As shown below:

You will notice on Airbnb, most of the “walking distance” homestay units are from D’Pristine.

However, in terms of the value of the unit itself, it is still worth your money.

Affiniti Residence – In front of Legoland Resort

You can walk through Medini Mall and arrive at either Legoland Resort or Sea-Life Entrance.

Here are some of Medini Mall’s current situations, Don’t expect it to be a MALL and compare it to Singapore’s shopping malls. It’s only at a “supermarket standard”.

Grand Medini Residence / Eylsiapark Residence – 10 Minutes of Walking Distance

Here is the exact location for you to consider:

The price would be higher compared to the D’Pristine Residence.

Plus, the available units are not as many as what D’Pristine Residence has to offer because a lot of the units are leased to hospital staff.

Reminder: When you are doing your research on Airbnb, the exact location for each unit is unavailable. You need to read all the details and check the photos and description to guess which residence apartment the unit is located at.

For Grand Medini Residence and Eylsiapark Residence, you will notice hosts always using photos of Mahkota Park nearby.
